The College is seeking an experienced English Teacher for the Senior School.
n
This position is permanent full-time commencing in Term 1 2027.
n
Core Requirements

- are a committed Christian, who is active in the life of a Bible-based Evangelical Church.
n
- support the College's vision of holistic Christian education.
n
- conduct themselves in a manner in keeping with the College ethos and Code of Conduct at all times, modelling Christian maturity to the College community.
n
- have the ability to teach across Stages 4-6 of the NESA English Syllabi to ensure that the College provides quality education to students.
n
- have exceptional communication and relational teaching skills.
n
- have knowledge of relevant compliance requirements in schools.
n
- holds a valid Working with Children Check in NSW (WWCC).
n
- are an accredited teacher with at least Conditional Teacher accreditation from NESA.
n
- work effectively and collaboratively in a Faculty team.
n
- the ability to teach all levels of English would be highly desirable.

Core Responsibilities
n
n
- provide effective and innovative teaching practices for teaching English, reflecting the Christian ethos of the College, ensuring a high standard of outcomes for all students.
n
- manage curriculum requirements for their classes, including programs, registers, assessment, feedback, and reporting.
n
- manage student issues arising from their classes using the College's positive behaviour framework and implementing relevant College protocols.
n
- implement College protocols and strategies.
n
- provide effective pastoral care to students through leading a regular House Tutor group.
n
- support co-curricular activities of the College.
n
