Job Description

Massage Therapist - Japanese Head Spa | Revesby | $30-35/hr + training n

Kyoto Head Spa is a small studio in Revesby doing one thing properly: authentic Japanese head spa treatments - scalp cleansing, pressure-point head and neck massage, and conditioning rituals that leave clients walking out genuinely different to how they walked in. We're looking for a qualified massage therapist to join us. You'll already know your way around the body. We'll teach you the rest.

Key responsibilities n

Full Japanese head spa treatments: scalp analysis, cleansing, head/neck/shoulder massage, conditioning

n

Consulting with clients on scalp and hair health and recommending the right treatment

n

Keeping your space and tools immaculate - it's part of the experience here

n

Building a repeat client base (most of ours come back monthly)

Why therapists like working here n

$30-35 per hour , depending on experience.

n

We train you. It's a specialist skill, it's in demand, and it stays with you for the rest of your career.

n

A small,

calm team. No chain-salon KPIs, no retail sales targets, no pressure to upsell.

n

A set roster you get in advance - you'll know your days, not find out on Friday.

n

Women only environment

n

Two minutes' walk from Revesby station.

About you n

At least 12 months' hands-on massage experience (any modality)

n

Availability across a mix of weekdays plus both Saturday and Sunday

n

Real warmth with clients - this is a job about how people feel

n

Hairdressing or beauty therapy background is a bonus, not a requirement. Japanese head spa experience isn't expected - that's exactly what the training is for.

The hours n

Part-time, 20-30 hours per week across a mix of weekdays and weekends. Weekend availability is essential - Saturday and Sunday are when our clients come in. Full time hours may be available for the right person.
