More Than Just a Job The Kath French Secure Care Centre (Secure Care) provides short-term intensive therapeutic care to vulnerable children who are presenting with high-risk behaviours. Part of this care occurs in a secured facility, and we are in the middle of designing a service that allows us to extend this intensive therapeutic support into a community-based service. Your Role. Your Impact. In this role you will have the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team that strive to make a real difference in the lives of children every day.



You will play an integral role in the Secure Care management team to:

- Assist and plan with Secure Care staff and others to develop community and family capacity to provide a safe environment for children and other vulnerable people.
- Provide services to children at the centre.
- Provide advice and expertise to Secure Care staff on the child safety and protection issues.
- Investigate serious concerns about the welfare and safety of children and take action appropriate to the situation.

Qualification Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or relevant human services area.
