Patch Personnel are proud to partner with an established and expanding Australian Exploration & Production company to source a Senior Completion Engineer to join their Brisbane-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Completion Engineer to join a growing operator and take a key technical role across the planning and delivery of new and existing conventional oil and gas wells.

Reporting to the Drilling Manager and working closely with drilling, subsurface, production and operations teams, the Senior Completion Engineer provides technical expertise across completion design, planning and execution, well intervention, well testing and flowback activities to ensure safe and optimal production performance.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Completion Engineer include, though are not limited to:

- Developing and reviewing completion designs, programs, equipment specifications and execution plans.
- Supporting completion, well testing and flowback planning and field execution.
- Planning and supporting well intervention, workover and remedial activities, including coiled tubing and wireline operations.
- Providing technical expertise across well integrity, barrier management and integrity risk assessment.
- Evaluating completion equipment, materials, wellheads, Xmas Trees and associated well components.
- Supporting artificial lift design, selection and optimisation, including plunger lift and gas lift applications.
- Providing technical input across hydraulic fracturing, stimulation and completion optimisation.
- Working closely with drilling,



subsurface, production, operations and service companies to deliver integrated well solutions.
- Providing technical assurance, risk assessment and field support throughout well delivery and intervention activities.
- Identifying opportunities to improve well performance, reliability, safety and lifecycle value.

About You You will hold a Bachelor of Engineering or relevant technical qualification and bring strong experience operating as Senior Completion Engineer.

Demonstrated conventional oil and gas well completion engineering experience is significant to this position, together with strong capability across completion design, planning and execution, well intervention, well integrity and well testing.

Experience across conventional and unconventional wells, hydraulic fracturing, artificial lift and well optimisation will be highly regarded.

Bringing strong technical and problem-solving capability, you will be comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams and providing technical support from engineering and planning through to field execution.

A strong commitment to well integrity, safety and continuous improvement will be essential.
