The Opportunity

As a Senior Consultant within our Business Services team, you'll support a portfolio of clients and contribute to the delivery of accounting, taxation, compliance and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, family groups and emerging businesses.

You'll work closely with Managers, Directors and Partners — delivering accurate, high-quality compliance work, building foundational client relationships, and progressively taking on greater responsibility across advisory matters. This is a genuine opportunity to develop technically, gain exposure to complex client work, and start mentoring the next generation of accountants, all within a firm that's investing seriously in your growth.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Advisory

- Build strong client relationships by delivering high-quality work and responsive service across a broad portfolio of clients
- Work collaboratively with Managers and Partners across client engagements and advisory matters
- Support the delivery of tax advice across areas including corporate tax, capital gains tax, Division 7A and trust taxation




- Gain exposure to complex client matters and the full lifecycle of client engagements

Technical & Commercial

- Prepare income tax returns, reconciliations and activity statements for a range of entities including companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related compliance obligations
- Ensure technical accuracy and adherence to relevant standards and legislation in all deliverables

Development

- Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment
- Take on increasing responsibility for reviewing and guiding the work of junior team members as experience develops
- Actively participate in structured professional development and mentoring from senior leaders

About You

- CA studies commenced, or planning to commence (or equivalent qualified qualification)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
- Experience preparing tax compliance work for a range of entity types
- Exposure to business and high-net-worth client groups
- A sound understanding of key taxation concepts including corporate tax, CGT, Division 7A and trust taxation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- A genuine commitment to ongoing professional development
