An opportunity has opened for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join a specialist commercial builder with a strong reputation for delivering technically complex projects.

They've established themselves over the past 20 years, now employing more than 160 staff and delivering over $1B worth of work, with 90% of their projects coming from repeat clients.

Their work sits across Health, Mission Critical Data Centres, Commercial and Complex Projects, with operations across the nation.

The Role

They are looking for a Senior Contract Administrator who can take genuine commercial ownership of a project.

You'll be involved from procurement and subcontractor letting through to forecasting, variations, client negotiations and final close-out.

This isn't just a package CA position. They want someone who understands the commercial side of construction, can identify risk early and is comfortable working closely with the PM, client and wider project team.

What You'll Be Doing

- Manage project financials, forecasting and cost reporting
- Develop procurement strategies and drive subcontractor letting
- Prepare, negotiate and administer subcontract packages
- Manage variations, claims and commercial risk
- Identify Head Contract scope changes and negotiate with the client
- Maintain strong relationships across clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Support and develop junior members of the commercial team
- Take the project commercially through to completion and close-out





What They're Looking For This role will suit an established Senior CA, or a strong CA ready to take the next step.

You'll ideally bring

- Strong head contractor experience
- Experience across larger ($50m +) or technically complex commercial projects
- Robust subcontractor procurement and contract administration experience
- Valuable understanding of forecasting, cost management and commercial risk
- Construction Management, Building or similar qualification
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across larger project teams
