Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer / Solution Architect with strong hands-on development expertise and proven experience in solution architecture, system design, and technical leadership.

The ideal candidate should be capable of moving beyond development into end-to-end solution design, defining architecture, integration patterns, technology standards, and technical roadmaps for complex enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architecture and technical design of enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions using C#, .NET Core / .NET 8, ASP.NET Core and Web API.
- Define solution architecture, application architecture, integration architecture, and technical roadmaps.
- Design REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
- Evaluate existing applications and recommend modernization, re-platforming, and cloud migration strategies.
- Define integration patterns between applications, databases, third-party systems, and cloud platforms.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Enterprise Architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams and conduct architecture and code reviews.
- Establish and enforce design principles, coding standards, security practices, and architectural best practices.
- Identify technical risks, scalability challenges, performance issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support development teams throughout the SDLC, from design through implementation, deployment, and production support.
- Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps, containerization,



and cloud-native architecture.
- Mentor senior developers and provide technical guidance on complex engineering problems.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- 8 years of experience in .NET / C# development.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core / Web API.
- Proven experience in Solution Architecture / Application Architecture.
- Solid experience designing enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Strong SQL Server / relational database experience.
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud architecture.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, messaging, APIs, and system-to-system integrations.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, DDD, and clean architecture.
- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of application security, scalability, availability, and performance.

Architecture & Leadership Experience

Candidates should have demonstrated experience in:

- Creating High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
- Making technology and architecture decisions.
- Defining solution architecture diagrams and technical specifications.
- Leading technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Reviewing and approving technical designs.
- Managing technical dependencies and integration points.
- Guiding development teams on architecture implementation.
- Working in Agile/Scrum enterprise environments.

Preferred

- Experience with Azure services, Azure DevOps, AKS, Service Bus, Functions, API Management, or equivalent AWS services.
- Experience with React / Angular.
- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
- Experience with API Gateway / Enterprise Integration.
- Experience with cloud migration and application modernization.
- Australian enterprise/project experience is an advantage.
