Applicants from diverse backgrounds including First Nations peoples, people with disability and those from different cultural backgrounds are encouraged to apply. What you will do as the Senior Executive Assistant/Branch Coordinator As the Senior Executive Assistant/Branch Coordinator,



you will provide high-level executive and administrative support to the General Manager of the National Anti-Scam Centre and be responsible for leading and managing the branch’s administration.

You will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion while liaising within the division and across the ACCC. The position requires strong attention to detail, resilience, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.

- Lead improvements to executive support, administrative and record-keeping processes.
- Coordinate branch HR matters, including recruitment, drafting position descriptions, maintaining staff movement records and processing learning and development requests. This also includes identifying relevant policies and supporting decision-makers.
- Coordinate the division’s intranet content and participate in the ACCC Community of Practice.
- Support document and clearance processes, including submissions to the Scams Prevention and Digital Markets Committee.
- Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements.
- Monitor and promote branch compliance with ACCC policies, including Timekeeper record-keeping, reporting, procurement and budget requirements.
- Manage credit card reconciliation and financial management support and operational reporting requirements for the branch.
- Assist with tracking and responding to Freedom of Information requests.




- Organise conferences and branch planning events.
- Provide secretariat support for branch meetings and other regular meetings as required.
- Liaise with other ACCC divisions and attend interdivisional meetings as required.

About You All candidates are expected to meet the APS Integrated Leadership Profile (ILS) for the classification advertised. Follow the link for more information on the ILS. This role in particular requires:

- Previous experience providing executive support in a similar role.
- Ability to learn current technology and tools as required.
- A basic understanding of the ACCC and National Anti-Scam Centre’s role, purpose and objectives (or the ability to attain such knowledge quickly).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions on tasks with considerable complexity and sensitivity, whilst maintaining confidentiality and a high level of professionalism.

The Following Job Specific Criteria Are Also Highly Desirable

- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics and iManage.
- Ability to draft and maintain Intranet content
