Senior HR Consultant - Senior Executive Service (SES) Support

Your new company An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced HR professional to support a major government organisation's review of Senior Executive Service (SES) positions. Working within a specialist Talent Team, you will play a key role in executive workforce and classification initiatives.

Your recent role

You will provide specialist advice and support across executive classification, appointments, and workforce management activities. Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting SES classification assessments
- Preparing executive classification and appointment business cases
- Coordinating submissions to relevant oversight bodies
- Supporting SES recruitment and appointment processes
- Reviewing executive structures and role classifications
- Providing strategic advice on executive employment matters
- Managing stakeholder engagement across senior leadership groups
- Supporting a department-wide review of SES positions

What you'll need to succeed To be considered, you will demonstrate:





- Previous experience working with Senior Executive Service (SES) or equivalent executive employment arrangements
- Experience preparing business cases and classification submissions
- Strong understanding of executive workforce management within a government environment
- Experience supporting senior executive recruitment and appointments
- Excellent stakeholder management and written communication skills
- Government experience, ideally within the WA public sector
- Experience with systems such as Big Red Sky, RAMS, Ascender/APAY and Content Manager will be highly regarded
