Service Advisor - Pump Room & Workshop Operations

This is much more than answering phones and making bookings.

You will be the central point of communication between our customers, technicians, pump room specialists, parts suppliers, and management team.

You'll oversee the movement of jobs through our specialist fuel injection workshop, coordinate estimates and repairs, manage customer expectations, and ensure work is completed efficiently and profitably.

You will become a key member of our management team responsible for keeping work flowing through the business.

Key responsibilities

- Manage daily operations of the Pump Room workflow
- Coordinate workshop overflow jobs
- Prepare quotations and repair estimates
- Create and manage repair orders
- Schedule work for technicians and specialists
- Liaise with customers regarding repairs and progress
- Follow up outstanding quotes and approvals
- Coordinate parts sourcing and supplier communication
- Assist with warranty and service administration
- Monitor job profitability and labour efficiency
- Ensure deadlines and promised completion dates are achieved
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards
- Support workshop planning and productivity

What We're Looking For

We're looking for somebody who can confidently take ownership of the role and make it their own.

Ideally, you will have:





- Automotive, diesel, transport or heavy vehicle industry experience
- Robust customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organisational ability
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Confidence dealing with customers and technicians
- Problem-solving mindset
- Positive attitude and professional presentation

- Heavy vehicle experience

- Parts interpreting experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience
