Production Manager – Western Sydney n

We’re working with a well-established packaging manufacturer in Western Sydney.

n

They’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to take ownership of the factory floor, lead a team through a period of growth and help raise performance across safety, productivity, quality and people engagement. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday on a day shift.

n

You’ll inherit a capable team and a site that’s performing well, but there’s still plenty of opportunity to put your own stamp on things.

What you’ll be doing – n

n
- Leading production operations across a busy manufacturing facility
n
- Managing and developing Supervisors, Team Leaders and production staff
n




- Making sure production targets are achieved without compromising safety or quality
n
- Working closely with maintenance, logistics and quality teams to keep operations running smoothly
n
- Identifying bottlenecks and implementing practical improvements
n
- Coaching managers and supervisors to build accountability and capability within the team
n

What we’re looking for – n

You could come from packaging, plastics, FMCG, food, print, building products or another high-volume manufacturing operation.
n What’s key is that you’ve:

- Managed production KPIs, staffing levels and operational performance
n
- Proven experience managing large teams and multiple layers of leadership
n
- Delivered measurable improvements in productivity, quality or efficiency
n
- Developed and retained strong teams
n
- Taken a hands‑on approach rather than managing from behind a desk
n

n

A trade qualification, engineering background or tertiary qualification would be viewed favourably.

n
