Rental Sales / Quality Inspector - Hertz

Hertz is looking for a motivated and reliable Rental Sales & Quality Inspector to join our team. This varied, hands-on role combines customer service, rental sales, vehicle inspections, and fleet quality control.

You’ll play an important role in ensuring every customer receives a friendly, professional experience — and every vehicle leaves our location clean, safe, and ready for the road.

About the Role

As our Rental Sales & Quality Inspector, you will assist customers throughout the rental process while helping maintain the presentation and quality of our vehicle fleet.

Your duties will include:

- Providing friendly and professional customer service

- Processing vehicle rentals, returns and rental agreements

- Identifying customer needs and recommending suitable vehicles and rental products

- Inspecting vehicles before and after rental

- Recording vehicle condition, damage and kilometres accurately

- Ensuring vehicles meet Hertz presentation and quality standards

- Checking vehicles are clean, fuelled and ready for the next customer

- Assisting with general administration and branch operations

About You

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and comfortable working in a busy customer-facing environment.

You will ideally have:

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- A professional and positive attitude

- Confidence dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone





- Positive computer and administration skills

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

- A practical approach and willingness to assist wherever required

- A current Australian driver's licence

- Previous experience in vehicle rental, automotive, sales, hospitality or customer service would be highly regarded
