Southern Lifts is a rapidly growing Melbourne-based lift company specialising in the servicing, maintenance and repair of residential and commercial lift systems throughout Victoria.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Lift Service Technician to join our team.

n

This is a hands-on field role focused on servicing, fault finding, repairs and customer support. You'll be given autonomy, responsibility and the support of a strong office and management team behind you.

About the Role n
n

As a Senior Lift Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of lift systems while providing outstanding customer service and technical support.

Key Responsibilities n
n

n
- n

Service and maintain residential and commercial lift systems

n
- n

Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs

n
- n

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults

n
- n

Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections

n
- n

Provide technical support and phone diagnostics where required

n
- n

Supervise and mentor apprentices and trade assistants

n
- n

Liaise with homeowners, builders, facility managers and customers

n
- n





Complete service reports and job documentation through our Elevate CRM platform

n
- n

Ensure compliance with OH&S; requirements, Australian Standards and company procedures

n
- n

Maintain a clean, organised and professional work environment

n
- n

Participate in the on-call roster (approximately 1 week in every 12 weeks) with additional retainer payment

n
- n

Travel throughout metropolitan Melbourne and occasional regional areas

n

Qualifications & Licences n
n

- n

Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence

n
- n

Construction White Card

n
- n

Manual Driver's Licence

n
- n

Working with Children Check

n
- n

Working at Heights (preferred)

n

Experience Required n
n

n
- n

Minimum 5 years experience in the lift industry

n
- n

Solid background in lift servicing and maintenance

n
- n

Experience with hydraulic, traction, MRL, screw and platform lifts

n
- n

Advanced electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

n
- n

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

n
- n

Experience supervising apprentices or junior technicians

n
