Head of Construction | Growing Head Contractor

A growing Sydney construction business is looking to appoint a Head of Construction to lead its expanding head contracting operation.

n

Originally established delivering its own developments, the business has evolved into third-party head contracting and currently has three live projects, with further opportunities progressing through the pipeline.

n

This is a key leadership appointment with genuine influence over how the construction business grows.

The Opportunity

n

n
- Take overall construction leadership across multiple live projects
n
- Lead and support Project Managers and site delivery teams
n
- Drive consistency across programme, procurement, design, commercial and delivery
n
- Maintain oversight of project performance, risk and resourcing
n
- Work closely with the Directors and senior leadership team
n
- Strengthen construction systems, processes and reporting as the business scales
n
- Support pre-construction, project mobilisation and delivery strategy
n
- Build capability within the construction team as additional projects come online
n
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key subcontractors
n

Who We’re Looking For





n

You’ll be an established Construction Manager / Head of Construction / senior delivery leader with a robust background working for a reputable head contractor or developer-builder.

n

You’ll have delivered large-scale residential or mixed-use projects, led multiple project teams and be comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on delivery level.

n

Importantly, this isn't a role for someone looking to simply oversee the status quo. The business is growing, and they want someone who can help shape the construction function, develop the team and play a significant role in its next stage of growth.
