About The Role As Senior Finance Officer, you will lead TIQ's financial operations function and supervise a small team delivering financial services across the organisation. Reporting to the Principal Financial Accountant, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and in compliance with legislative and policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include

- Leading accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, travel, corporate card administration and financial operations activities.




- Managing and developing Finance Officers through coaching and performance management.
- Overseeing transaction processing and resolving complex financial issues.
- Monitoring financial controls, reconciliations, vendor processes and banking activities to ensure financial integrity.
- Contributing to month-end and year-end activities, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
- Providing advice on financial operations, systems, policies and compliance requirements.
- Maintaining financial procedures, training materials and process improvements.
- Coordinating audit activities and implementing recommendations.

Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience leading financial operations functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and financial controls.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop team members.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and implement solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to provide trusted advice and build productive relationships.
- Experience implementing process improvements to strengthen controls and service delivery.
- Sound knowledge of financial policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
