- Initial contract for 3 months with possible further 12 months
- Attractive hourly pay rate of $57.21 per hour +Super
- Working Onsite, all 5 days from Gungahlin

Purpose of the role: In this role, you will be providing efficient, high quality, timely, and compliant support services in the Shared Service Finance environment. The role supports the key financial operations functions of the environment and contributes to initiatives that aim to improve business process, service delivery, customer satisfaction and achieve shared team goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate information and the timely resolution of enquiries relating to the processing functions in a high-volume Accounts Payable operational environment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with the Territory’s principles, practices, and behaviors, by consistently achieving outstanding satisfaction ratings from clients.
- Work cooperatively within a team environment to achieve organisational and team based goals by establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with work practices, procedures, guidelines and instructions, including the ability to interpret legislation related to the functions of the finance operations environment.
- Identify and promote initiatives aimed at improving business process, service delivery, customer satisfaction and that contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements





- Demonstrated capability in a high volume finance operations environment with a strong understanding of the Accounts Payable function.
- Demonstrated capability in financial processing systems e.g. Oracle R12, Converga P2P, WBC Corporate Online, or similar applications is advantageous.
- Demonstrated knowledge of work practices, procedures, guidelines, instructions and legislative requirements relevant to a finance operations environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, combined with strong problem-solving and numerical analytical skills
- Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and a proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage workloads and meet tight deadlines.
- (Baseline clearance equivalent) is required.
- Robust finance operations experience, ideally in Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable, banking, bookkeeping or reconciliations experience will also be considered.
