You will do this with people who want you to grow and progress.

Situated within Corporate Services, the Finance business unit plays a critical role in supporting TIQ's strategic and operational objectives through the provision of financial leadership, governance, stewardship and business partnering services. The unit is responsible for financial management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial operations and compliance activities that support informed decision-making,



financial sustainability and the effective management of organisational resources across TIQ's domestic and international operations.

Based in Brisbane, here’s what your role will involve:

- Leading TIQ's financial operations function, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant financial services across domestic and international operations.
- Managing and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel, banking, corporate card administration and other financial operations activities, ensuring service standards, internal controls and compliance obligations are achieved.
- Leading and supervising Finance Officers, providing coaching, performance feedback, training and support to build capability and promote a high-performing team culture.
- Overseeing TIQ's domestic and international transaction processing activities, investigating complex issues, resolving escalated matters and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Contributing to the delivery of month-end and year-end financial operations activities, including the review and approval of reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, journals and supporting working papers to ensure the timely closure of the general ledger.
- Managing key operational financial controls, including banking activities, cashbook reconciliations, corporate card acquittals, vendor management processes, and other control mechanisms to ensure the integrity of financial information.

- Financial operations leadership with experience managing financial operations functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, reconciliations and financial controls.
- People leadership and capability development with the ability to lead, coach and support staff to achieve high-quality outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex issues, identify risks and implement practical solutions.
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build productive relationships and provide trusted advice across a diverse stakeholder environment.
- A commitment to governance and continuous improvement with experience strengthening financial processes, controls and service delivery outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of financial legislation , policies and procedures and the ability to apply these to ensure compliance and effective financial management.
