Senior Manager, FP&A; | Financial Services | Sydney The business

The role

Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you'll own FP&A;, reporting and commercial analysis across the group. This is a hands-on, highly visible role where your insights will directly shape decision making at C-suite and board level.

Key responsibilities

- Own the monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Lead cashflow forecasting, treasury support and working capital management
- Drive budgeting and forecasting, including the shift towards driver-based modelling
- Deliver profitability analysis across business units and products
- Prepare board and management reporting that turns numbers into transparent, actionable insight
- Support financial controls,



governance and process improvement across the planning cycle
- Partner with senior stakeholders on modelling, strategic planning and commercial analysis
- Champion continuous improvement across finance systems and reporting

About you

- CA qualified (or CPA/CIMA equivalent)
- FP&A;, commercial finance or management accounting experience within regulated financial services
- Strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, cashflow and financial reporting
- Exposure to regulatory capital or liquidity reporting highly regarded
- Confident communicating complex financials to management and board stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with budgeting/consolidation and cloud accounting platforms
- Curious, proactive and detail-driven, with a systematic approach to your work
- Comfortable using AI-enabled tools to lift efficiency and reporting quality
