Cassar Signs is looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer with strong vehicle wrap and signage industry experience to join our growing team in Unanderra.

This is not a generic graphic design role.

You’ll be working on real-world projects every day, including vehicle wraps, fleet branding, shopfronts, illuminated signage, commercial fit-outs and large-format graphics taking projects from the initial client brief through design, approvals and into production.

We’re looking for someone who understands both great design and how signage is actually manufactured and installed.

Cassar Signs is an established vehicle branding and commercial signage company servicing Wollongong, the Illawarra and beyond.

We work with businesses ranging from local operators through to established commercial brands and franchises, delivering everything from one-off vehicle wraps to complete signage packages, illuminated signage, fleet branding and large-scale commercial projects.

Our team designs, prints, manufactures and installs projects in-house from our modern, purpose-built workshop in Unanderra NSW.

About the role

This position will predominantly focus on graphic design, client communication and planning workflow.

You will work closely with our production and installation team to ensure projects are designed correctly, approved efficiently and prepared accurately for manufacture.

You’ll have genuine ownership over your projects rather than simply receiving artwork briefs and passing files downstream.

This is an in-house fulltime position only. Hybrid or remote is not available.

Key responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Designing vehicle wraps, fleet graphics and commercial signage
- Creating branding concepts, layouts and client presentations
- Designing shopfronts, illuminated signage, wall graphics and large-format projects
- Taking client briefs and translating them into creative, practical solutions




- Communicating directly with clients regarding concepts, revisions and approvals
- Preparing accurate, scaled artwork and production-ready files
- Setting up files for digital print, vinyl cutting, CNC routing, laser cutting and other production processes
- Planning jobs and coordinating artwork through the production workflow
- Working closely with our production and installation team
- Managing multiple projects, deadlines and client expectations
- Identifying and solving design or production issues before they reach manufacture

What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone experienced enough to step into the role and operate confidently without needing constant supervision.

About you

- Minimum 3 years’ professional graphic design experience
- Previous vehicle wrap and/or signage industry experience required
- Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills
- Strong Adobe Photoshop skills
- Experience designing vehicle graphics, wraps and commercial signage
- Ability to independently prepare accurate, scaled and print-ready production files
- Robust understanding of typography, layout, branding and visual communication
- Experience preparing professional client proofs and presentations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence communicating directly with clients
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to take ownership of projects
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team
- Positive attitude and genuine pride in producing quality work
