Join the Team

As a Senior ICT Investment Analyst within our Finance team, you will play a key role in shaping technology investment decisions across NSW Health. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will assess, prioritise and evaluate complex digital and ICT initiatives, develop robust business cases, and provide evidence-based and insight driven recommendations that support strategic investment decisions, improved service delivery and better health outcomes for the people of NSW.

In this role, you will:

- Lead the development of business cases, investment proposals and funding submissions for significant ICT and digital health initiatives.
- Analyse financial, economic and operational data to undertake cost-benefit analysis, options assessments, investment appraisals and scenario modelling.




- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate investment opportunities and align proposals with strategic priorities.
- Influence decision-making through transparent, evidence-based advice, executive reporting and presentations.
- Support ICT investment governance, assurance and prioritisation activities across portfolios, programs and initiatives.

About You

- Has experience developing business cases, investment proposals and financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Demonstrates strong analytical capability, including cost-benefit analysis, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, economic appraisal, investment prioritisation and options analysis.
- Can interpret and synthesise complex information from multiple sources to develop practical, evidence-based recommendations.
- Communicates effectively with executive and non-technical audiences, presenting complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Builds strong stakeholder relationships and can influence outcomes across diverse groups in a complex organisational environment.
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
