Monadelphous is offering an opportunity for an experienced Senior HSE Coordinator to join our Engineering Construction HSE Management Team. You'll work closely with the HSE Manager, General Managers, and Senior Leadership to implement strategic HSE initiatives.

You'll also provide direct HSE support, guidance, governance, and leadership to our operational teams, helping drive performance improvement and foster a positive safety culture

This role is based in our Brisbane (Milton) office, with the opportunity for regular travel to our sites and operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide specialist HSE advice and support to operational teams, ensuring alignment with legislative, client and company requirements.
- Lead and support HSE audits, inspections, investigations and safety awareness initiatives.
- Analyse HSE performance data to identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor workplace practices and provide guidance to ensure compliance with HSE procedures, standards and legislative requirements.
- Coach, mentor and provide leadership to HSE team members and operational personnel to strengthen safety capability and performance.
- Develop and implement practical strategies and initiatives to continually improve HSE performance.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and partner with operational teams to deliver effective HSE solutions and support.




- Contribute to the development and review of HSE plans, systems and processes to support operational and business objectives.

What you’ll bring

- Significant experience in a Senior HSE role within the Power/Transmission or construction industry will be highly regarded.
- High level of attention to detail, initiative and drive for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and support teams in achieving positive HSE outcomes
- Experience in developing succinct, practical HSE management system documentation, with a working knowledge of legislative requirements.
- Strong technical HSE skills and knowledge of contemporary HSE management practices.
- Demonstrated incident investigation capability, including the ability to lead significant investigations, identify underlying and systemic causes, develop effective corrective actions, and coach and support site HSE personnel and operational leaders through the investigation process
- Intermediate user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) to accurately assemble and maintain document and quality records and produce accurate reports
