About Superhero

Superhero is an award-winning Australian investment and superannuation platform built for the new generation of self-directed investors.

Today, we're proudly helping over 470,000 Australians reimagine their financial future and build real wealth on Superhero. We're looking for sharp, team-oriented minds to support our mission of democratising investing.

About the role The Senior Marketing Manager, Acquisition & Creative Strategy, owns the creative engine behind Superhero's customer growth and leads planning across the marketing function. You'll turn business and acquisition objectives into sharp creative strategies and campaigns that convert, from the big idea through to always-on performance creative. You'll set the creative direction for how we win new customers, using audience insight, testing and performance data to decide what we make, where it runs and how it evolves.

You'll lead the overarching marketing plan, bringing brand, acquisition, content, CRM and partnerships into one coordinated roadmap across the campaign and always-on calendars. You'll also oversee our ATL media plans, working with our media agency to make sure investment is aligned to growth objectives, supports long-term brand equity and works hand in hand with performance activity. You'll manage key agency and partner relationships, and lead a small, high-performing team of brand and marketing managers.

The Day-to-Day

Acquisition & Creative Strategy

- Turn acquisition objectives into creative strategies and campaign ideas that win new customers, from the big idea through to always-on performance creative.
- Set the creative direction for acquisition across channels, using audience insight, testing and performance data to decide what we make, where it runs and how it evolves.
- Build and run a structured creative testing program covering concepts, messages, formats and hooks, and feed the learnings back into future work.
- Make sure acquisition creative works hard in the short term while building long-term brand equity, so performance activity always looks and feels like Superhero.

Marketing Strategy & Overarching Planning
- Lead planning across the marketing function, bringing brand, acquisition, content, CRM and partnerships into one coordinated roadmap.
- Translate business and marketing objectives into structured, customer-led marketing plans with clear KPIs, timelines and ownership.
- Own the master marketing calendar, sequencing campaigns, launches and always-on activity to maximise impact and avoid clashes across teams.

- Build measurement frameworks so every plan has a clear view of what success looks like and how it will be tracked.

Content & Program Planning
- Oversee the end-to-end content plan across always-on and campaign activity, making sure content is planned against audience, funnel stage and channel, with a strong focus on acquisition.
- Maintain a rolling content calendar that balances brand, product and performance needs and keeps pace with launches, market moments and always-on requirements.
- Track content performance and use insight to keep refining the plan, rather than treating planning as a one-off exercise.

ATL Media Oversight & Investment Planning
- Oversee ATL and full-funnel media plans, working closely with our media agency to make sure investment is aligned to growth objectives.
- Critically review agency media plans, including channel mix, phasing, audience targeting, budget allocation and forecasted outcomes.
- Make sure plans are grounded in clear investment logic, such as full-funnel or bottom-up modelling, rather than accepted at face value.
- Review forecasted reach, frequency and efficiency metrics against objectives, and flag risk or misalignment early.
- Lead budget planning and phasing across brand, product and performance, so spend reflects strategic priorities and ATL activity works hand in hand with performance.

Agency & Partner Management
- Manage key creative, media and partner relationships, holding agencies to a high standard on strategy, creativity and delivery.
- Lead the briefing process for major campaigns, giving agencies what they need to produce work that meets both our commercial and creative ambitions.
- Brief content and creative requirements clearly to agencies, internal teams and partners, so output is on-strategy, on-brand and fit for the channels it runs in.

Marketing Project & Initiative Management
- Manage marketing initiatives end to end, from scoping through to delivery and post-launch review.
- Set up clear project plans with milestones, owners and dependencies, and track progress against them before issues surface.
- Coordinate input and sign-off across internal stakeholders (brand, product, legal/compliance, performance) and external partners (creative, media, production),

so nothing stalls waiting on an approval.
- Review and optimise marketing processes and ways of working so the team is set up for success.

Team Leadership
- Lead, manage and develop a small, high-performing team of brand and marketing managers.
- Set clear priorities and expectations, run regular 1:1s and give honest, constructive feedback.
- Build the team's capability in creative strategy, planning and commercial thinking, creating an environment where people do their best work and grow.

About you

- 8+ years' experience in marketing and media, ideally across both client-side and/or agency environments.
- Strong track record working directly with creative and media agencies, briefing, reviewing output, and managing the relationship.
- Confident reviewing and critiquing media plans, including channel strategy, budget allocation, targeting and forecasted performance.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with data and investment models to inform planning decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management able to influence senior stakeholders and hold agencies to account with equal confidence.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, timelines and priorities at once.
