The Role

Reporting to the newly appointed Head of Sales & Marketing you will be reporting to an experienced and inspirational leader who has a great reputation and is exceptionally well networked within the FMCG industry. He is looking for an experienced FMCG National Account Manager to be his 2IC and to take the business to the next level of growth.

You will be responsible for the following (not limited to)

- Develop & execute customer account plans that define growth priorities, ranging opportunities, promotional strategy and commercial targets.
- Own day-to-day strategic customer relationships
- Lead customer meetings, range reviews, business review and negotiations with clear preparation, insight and commercial discipline
- Identify current channel opportunities across hardware, grocery, emerging channels and digital/e-Commerce
- Utilise Quantium, Circana, customer scan date and category reports to identify trends, gaps, opportunities and risks
- Partner with Marketing and NPD to shape the innovation pipeline
- Deliver agreed customer NSV, gross margin & profitability targets
- Own customer forecasts,



promotional planning and new line launches working closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and Customer Service
- Develop new business across existing & new customer accounts

What you need to bring to the role

- An entrepreneurial mindset with a love for business development and National Account Management that allows you to think outside the box.
- 5+ years of FMCG NAM experience across grocery, hardware, wholesale, emerging channels and e-Commerce.
- Highly analytical with ability to utilise data to create meaningful category reviews
- Experience managing the Bunnings account highly regarded
- Private Label experience an advantage
- Outstanding ability to work cross functionally
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial acumen
- A can-do attitude with a sense of humour
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or Marketing
- Drivers License
