An experienced Venue Manager role for one of Sydney's top 100 gaming venues, part of the Universal Hotels group. This is a gaming-heavy, high-volume venue and requires someone who can run it with total confidence across every part of the operation — floor, bar, gaming and compliance.

Key responsibilities

Oversee all day-to-day operations across extended trading hours

Lead a large gaming floor, including TAB and Keno operations

Ensure full compliance with gaming, liquor licensing and RSA/RSG obligations

Roster, manage, train and support performance across a sizeable team

Manage budgets, labour costs and P&L; performance

Build strong relationships with the local Fairfield community and regulars

Handle cash management, EOD reconciliation and reporting

Work closely with the Universal Hotels support team to drive venue performance

About you

Proven experience as a Venue Manager or senior gaming manager in a high-volume venue

Strong,



hands-on experience across gaming, TAB and Keno operations

Current RSA and RSG certification (NSW)

Genuine understanding of, and connection to, the Fairfield local area

Confident leader who thrives managing a team across a demanding roster

Comfortable working late nights and extended trading hours

Robust financial acumen — budgets, cost control, reporting
