The Team & Role

We are seeking Casual Occupational Therapists to join our inpatient Occupational Therapy team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to patients with a broad range of clinical presentations, including medical and surgical conditions, neurology, stroke, orthopaedics, dementia,



and general deconditioning.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support patients to achieve their functional goals and facilitate safe discharge planning through individual and group-based interventions delivered within the hospital and, where required, in the patient's home. Caseloads will be allocated according to clinical experience, skills, and service requirements, with appropriate support and supervision provided.

This casual opportunity is for weekday shifts only (Monday to Friday), working across all inpatient sites.

Skills & Experience Required

- Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (via AHPRA)
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
- Experience in the acute and/or subacute inpatient setting with a sound understanding of patient flow priorities and timeframes.
- Skills in the assessment of occupational performance considering physical, cognitive and psychosocial aspects of the person and their environment and determine appropriate intervention in the acute and/or subacute inpatient setting.
