Know how to move product from an overseas supplier to the warehouse door without a hitch? A rapid-growing business is building out its supply chain and looking for an experienced, hands‑on logistics coordinator to own the import process end to end.

About the role n

Sitting within the procurement team, you'll manage the flow of products from China to Australia and everything in between, from a handful of key overseas suppliers through to arrival at the warehouse. It's a busy, high-volume operation, around 60 containers a month and growing, with plenty of out of gauge cargo.

Day to day responsibilities include:

n

- Coordinate international shipments end to end, from supplier through to delivery
n
- Liaise with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders and shipping lines to track shipments,



progressively taking ownership of booking international freight directly (currently supplier-managed)
n
- Arrange local delivery of containers from port to the warehouse or nominated delivery points
n
- Track and trace any container damage back to its source
n
- Review freight and shipping invoices against quotes before submitting for payment
n
- Stay across documentation, timelines and landed costs1
n
- Spot and resolve delays before they become problems, keeping the business informed along the way
n

About you nn
- Experienced logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain coordination, with solid international import exposure
n
- Fluent in Mandarin (highly advantageous)
n
- Confident working with freight forwarders, shipping lines and shipping documentation
n
- Experience with out-of-gauge, open-top or oversized cargo (beneficial)
n
- A confident communicator who takes the initiative to chase issues and keep relevant stakeholders informed
n
- A strong organiser who can juggle multiple shipments and stay across the detail
n
