Due to our current and upcoming workload, only applicants who meet the following criteria will be considered for this role.

Vacuum Truck experience is a must (septic waste experience highly regarded. General Truck / delivery drivers will not be considered for this role)

Valid HR driver’s license

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in driving a HR vehicle

Construction Induction Card/White Card

Experience on large scale projects and those who understand Tier 1 site etiquette & protocol is preferred.

Physically fit and healthy

About the Role and your responsibilities

Zero Hire are seeking a physically fit and motivated Vacuum Pump Truck Operator to join our team. This position is a great opportunity for someone seeking a fast-paced, dynamic full-time role. Zero Hire's head office is based in Tottenham VIC, however the position is primarily a site based role that would require you to attend the yard on a daily basis at the beginning and end of your day.

You will be responsible for the collection of liquid wastes (Septic Tanks & Portable Toilets), completing documentation, and maintaining your vehicle. The role is very hands-on, involves driving and manual labour. This role will suit a forward-thinking individual, who thrives working both individually and as a team.

Your role as a Zero Hire Vacuum Pump Truck Operator will consist of;





Safe and compliant operation of Vacuum Truck.

Pumping and disposal of liquid waste from Septic Tanks and Portable toilets

Follow scheduled routes and maintain accurate collection records.

Communicate with the Operations Manager and other drivers regarding route progress or issues.

Successfully and accurately achieve daily KPI's (Averaging 30+ assets daily inclusive of Septic tanks, portaloo's & caravan waste)

Must present and conduct yourself professionally while representing the company on site.

Daily Maintenance of Truck & Equipment to ensure secure working conditions

The ideal applicant will possess

Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems while ensuring accuracy of data entry

Building and maintaining a positive relationship/rapport with key internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders as you represent our company out on site

Self-motivated individual with strong time-management skillsand excellent communication

Forward thinking with a high attention to detail

Team player

Willing to work overtime and weekends

Adhere to all safety, environmental, and company policies.
