This unique role blends hospitalitywith hands-on learning, supporting students as they gain real-worldexperience in our Café Program. As a CaféAssistant,you'llplay a key role inmanaging foodorders and stock control,receivingdeliveriesandmaintainingkitchensafety and cleanliness.

You'llbe rosteredacross weekdays (Monday toFriday) , with flexibility basedon the Café Program scheduleduring term timeonly.

KeyDuties

- Supporting studentswith curriculum-based Learning Outcomes for the CafeProgram
- Collaborating with the CaféManager to guide and evaluate studentperformance
- Prepare food trays/trolleys forpractical classes asneeded
- Collaborate with Café Managerfor food orders andprocureadditionalgoodsasnecessary
- Ensure proper storage of fruit,vegetables, and colditems
- Participateinstock-takesand attendmeetings




- Purchase of goods not includedin bulk orders asrequired
- Model and live the CaulfieldGrammar School values andbehaviours.

Skills andExperience

- Experience with Practical FoodHygiene
- Previousexposure to Foodpreparation
- The ability to communicateeffectively and work collaboratively withinateam
- Any relevant Food or Hospitalityqualifications wouldbedesirable
- First Aid Certificatewouldbeadvantageous
- Employment Working withChildren’s Check
