Production Manager About the Company n

A small, well-established glazing business is looking for a hands-on Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of their window and door production.

n

They're open to experienced Production Managers as well as someone with a strong trade background who is ready to step off the tools and take the next step into management.

The Role n

Working closely with the GM and supervisors, you'll be responsible for keeping production running smoothly from scheduling through to completion.

n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

n

- Scheduling production and coordinating workloads across the team
n
- Measuring and checking jobs to ensure they are ready for production
n
- Overseeing the production team and making sure jobs are progressing to schedule
n
- Coordinating priorities and allocating work across the workshop
n
- Troubleshooting production issues and finding practical solutions
n
- Working closely with the GM and supervisors to keep jobs moving
n
- Helping improve processes and efficiency across the production floor
n
- Getting involved across different areas of the business as required
n

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the workshop floor, working with the team and making sure things actually get done.

About You n

We're looking for someone with experience managing or coordinating a manufacturing or production workplace.

n

You’ll ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience in a Production Manager, Production Supervisor or similar role
n
- Experience working within windows, doors, glazing, shopfitting, joinery or a related manufacturing environment
n
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills
n
- Good understanding of production processes and workflows
n
- Ability to measure and interpret plans/job requirements
n
- A practical approach to problem solving
n
- Confidence managing and coordinating a small team
n
- The ability to juggle multiple jobs and priorities at once
n
