About this chance

You will be a senior member of our national payroll team, mentoring and coaching payroll officers and supporting our offices across Australia

- Support the Payroll Operations and Systems Manager in the delivery of effective and efficient payroll operations
- Act as a point of escalation and lead a team of 3 to 4 Payroll Officers
- Maintain specialist knowledge of Payroll Practices, Employment Legislation, Enterprise Agreements and Award interpretation
- Complete all necessary compliance lodgments for single touch payroll, superannuation, and Portable LSL
- Prepare payroll reporting for management as required
- Drive to achieve continuous improvement in the overall payroll processes

About you:

- Experience in end-to-end payroll and in a senior or similar role
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- Robust award and enterprise agreement interpretation, with a sound understanding of superannuation and long service leave legislation
- Experience with Aurion payroll system is highly desirable
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines independently
