Power Platform Developer (Contract)

Our Client is a leading organisation actively seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Developer to join their team in Brisbane for a full-time contract opportunity. You will play a crucial role in a key digital modernization project, driving change within a mission-critical business solution used to manage critical service assessments for stakeholders. Reporting to the Manager of Digital Systems, you will collaborate closely with the Solution Architect and design team to deliver seamless system changes in line with the organisation's Digital Roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the implementation of front-end UI components using Liquid Template, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Customize Power Portals themes, layouts, forms, and workflows to ensure a cohesive user experience across devices.
- Integrate Power Portals seamlessly with Dataverse, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and external systems using RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Configure and manage entities, forms, relationships, and security roles within Dataverse to support portal operations.




- Ensure all development adheres to WCAG 2.1 Accessibility standards and internal design system guidelines.
- Perform thorough testing, identify and resolve bugs, and conduct regular code reviews to maintain clean, maintainable code.

Knowledge & Experience

- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps Portals/Pages and front-end component integration.
- Proven background as a Front-End Developer, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing UI development and reusable components.
- Strong expertise in Power Automate Flow creation, Dataverse data modeling, and authentication mechanisms.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and contemporary design systems.
- A Bachelor's degree in Data, Information Systems, or a related field is highly desirable.
