In this influential role, you'll partner with business leaders to identify, assess, and manage operational risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations, including AML/CTF and Safer Gambling requirements.

You'll lead risk assessments, control testing, incident investigations, and remediation activities, providing practical advice and actionable insights that support informed decision-making. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll help embed risk management frameworks, enhance compliance processes, and foster a proactive risk culture. What we’re looking for:

- Proven experience in risk management, compliance, audit, or a regulated operational setting, with the ability to embed risk and compliance practices into day-to-day business activities.
- Strong knowledge of Queensland casino regulatory requirements, AML/CTF obligations, and risk governance frameworks, with the ability to interpret and apply complex legislation and compliance standards.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience conducting risk assessments, control testing, compliance monitoring, and identifying practical solutions to emerging risks.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills,



with the ability to influence decision-making and clearly present risk and compliance insights to a wide range of audiences.
- High attention to detail and a structured approach to managing incidents, risks, controls, and compliance activities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative and ethical professional who demonstrates integrity, sound judgement, and a commitment to maintaining strong governance and regulatory standards.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Business, Law, or a related discipline will be highly regarded, together with 4-6 years' experience in risk, compliance, governance, or a similar field. Experience within the gaming, hospitality, or other highly regulated industries will be viewed favourably.
