Print Production Assistant | NSW Government

Our client is a highly regarded NSW Government organisation seeking a Print Production Assistant to join their team on a 12-month in office contract based in Pyrmont, with no remote working options.

In this role, you will provide a range of print production services, ensuring all work is delivered in line with relevant policies and procedures. You will also support the team with incoming and outgoing postal services, contributing to the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the team.

The Job... During this exciting Print Production Assistant contract, you will be responsible for:

- Operate and monitor print production equipment to ensure quality outputs.
- Inspect print samples and make adjustments to maintain quality.
- Manage secure paper inventory in line with policies and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and basic repairs on equipment.




- Prepare daily production and paper usage reports.
- Support incoming and outgoing postal services, including scanning and mailing.
- Prepare certificates, letters and correspondence in line with organisational requirements.

You... To be successful in this Print Production Assistant role, you must have experience in the following:

- Experience operating print room or similar production equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues in a high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and security protocols.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure.
- NSW Government or public sector experience highly desirable.
