Little Steps Therapies is looking for an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to join our Rouse Hill team in a permanent, ongoing position. This role is ideal for a confident paediatric clinician who enjoys working directly with children and families while supporting the clinical development of other Speech Pathologists.

You will manage a full paediatric clinical caseload while facilitating group supervision, mentoring developing clinicians and providing guidance on complex cases. You will also work closely with the Team Leader to assist with clinical report reviews when required.

Protected time for these senior clinical responsibilities will be built into your weekly schedule.

Preferred commencement: November - December 2026. Start date may be flexible for the right candidate.

About the Role

As our Senior Speech Pathologist, you will:

- Manage a full paediatric caseload across assessment and intervention
- Facilitate structured group supervision for Speech Pathologists
- Mentor and support junior and developing clinicians
- Provide clinical guidance and support for complex cases
- Work collaboratively with the Team Leader to assist with clinical report reviews when required
- Support clinicians to strengthen their clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice
- Collaborate with Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants
- Contribute to clinical resources, service development and quality improvement
- Develop a caseload aligned with your clinical interests and areas of expertise

This is a senior clinical position rather than a people-management role.



You will remain actively involved in client care while contributing to the clinical capability and confidence of the wider team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A recognised Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- Current Speech Pathology Australia membership and Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status, or eligibility to obtain it
- At least four years of clinical experience, preferably predominantly within paediatrics
- Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision or mentoring
- Strong paediatric assessment and intervention skills
- Sound clinical reasoning and confidence supporting complex cases
- The ability to review clinical reports and provide clear, constructive feedback when supporting the Team Leader
- A commitment to evidence-based and family-centred practice
- Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
- The ability to balance a clinical caseload with scheduled supervision responsibilities
- A valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain them
