We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, build and operate cloud infrastructure while driving automation, reliability and operational excellence across our environments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform and DevOps practices to support mission-critical data pipelines and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

- Design, build and operate cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Implement and maintain GCP networking, including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), firewalls, load balancing and interconnects
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment setup using DevOps best practices
- Build, run and improve continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with Jenkins
- Support operational stability for data pipelines through monitoring, standardization and incident response
- Collaborate with Java, Python, data, quality assurance and business teams to enable smooth delivery
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and technical planning
- Improve reliability, scalability and security across cloud environments

Requirements

- DevOps practices including automation, CI/CD and operational readiness
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with hands-on production experience running cloud infrastructure
- GCP networking including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), firewall rules, load balancing and interconnects
- Jenkins with expert-level, hands-on experience supporting production pipelines
- Infrastructure engineering across availability, performance, scalability and security
- Problem-solving skills with a practical approach to troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Nice to have

- Data engineering or data pipeline delivery experience
- Hands-on scripting or development exposure with Python or Java in a cloud context
- Experience working in financial services or other regulated environments
