Your new role

As Senior Training Coordinator, you will coordinate, deliver and support training and learning activities across the Operational Services Department. You'll play a key role in identifying learning needs, developing contemporary training resources and delivering programs that support staff to perform their roles efficiently, safely and in line with Queensland Health requirements.

You will,

- Design, develop and maintain engaging training materials, resources and digital learning content.
- Identify education needs, undertake gap analysis and develop targeted training plans.
- Facilitate training programs, workshops and learning activities in collaboration with Metro South teams.
- Monitor training compliance and provide managers with reporting on progress, deliverables and performance measures.

About you:

You are an experienced learning and development professional who can confidently design and deliver training in a structured, learner-focused environment. You'll bring solid communication, organisational and digital skills, together with the ability to build effective relationships and develop practical learning solutions in a complex healthcare environment.

You have,

- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training across a range of formats.
- Strong skills in planning, evaluating and supporting the ongoing development of others.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively.

Princess Alexandra Hospital

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.

We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.

We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all recent services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
