JRB Diesel Fleet service is a growing independent heavy vehicle and repair specialist in Sydney with over 20 years of growth and success.

JRB Diesel Brisbane has just moved into new premises and in th eaerly, as such there is now an exciting opportunity for an accomplished service manager in the heavy vehicle sector to come and help grow our newest branch!!! This is an exciting chance to lead our growing team! JRB has strong ties with businesses all over the east coast of Australia carrying out work from fleet service and repairs to heavy vehicle modifications!

Qualifications & experience

- Trade qualified heavy vehicle mechanic,
- Previous experience at Service or Branch Manager level,
- HR/HC license preferred,
- RMS ticket highly desirable,
- Proven leadership skills,
- Mercedes Benz / Freightliner / Fuso truck experience highly desirable.
- Strong diagnostics skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and recruit a team
- Cary performance reviews
- Onboard and price work
- Ability to identify and execute business opportunities




- Report financials to the management team
- Ability to plan and carry out workshop layout and builds

Tasks & responsibilities

- Leading and mentoring workshop leadership team
- Overseeing and guiding workshop Foreman.
- Assisting with occasional quality control,
- Road testing.

- Assisting with invoicing
- Leading healthy discussions around work and target times.
- Working closely with top tier customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
- Continuous improvement in work quality and workshop safety.
- Training and mentoring service staff.
- Assisting with maintaining supplier relationships
- Regular price reviews to ensure customer is always getting the best deal
