Due to ongoing growth within the industrial gases industry, we are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our Customer Engineering Services team based in Torrensville, South Australia.

This permanent full-time role is ideal for a mechanically minded trade professional who enjoys a variety of hands-on work, problem-solving and building strong customer relationships. You'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, integrity and safe operation of BOC equipment installed at customer sites across South Australia.

What you will enjoy doing

- Install, service and maintain BOC and customer-owned equipment at customer and BOC sites in a safe and cost-effective manner.

- Attend service calls, diagnose faults and rectify equipment issues while providing a high level of customer service.

- Build positive working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

- Participate in an on-call roster, typically one week in every four weeks.

- Promote the safe use of BOC products, including cryogenic liquids, compressed gases and associated equipment.

- Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately documented using the digital tools provided.

- Work collaboratively with fellow Service Technicians and the broader Customer Engineering Services team.

- Travel regularly throughout metropolitan Adelaide,



with occasional regional and remote site visits.

What makes you great

- Trade qualification in a mechanical or related field (Plumber, Fitter, Refrigeration Mechanic, Instrumentation Technician, etc.)

- A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.

- Demonstrated experience in equipment maintenance, fault finding and repair.

- A current Australian driver's licence with a good driving record.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

- A willingness to learn and develop recent technical skills.

- Experience within the industrial gases industry or a related technical field will be highly regarded.

- Willingness to usually start time at 7:00 am
