As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Service Technician to support our service, warranty and aftermarket support functions while being involved in product improvement and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be key to the local servicing functions, support our national servicing network and use field experience and customer feedback to drive continuous product improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Service & Warranty Leadership

- Ensure service and repair activities are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Monitor service performance and customer satisfaction outcomes.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers, dealers and service agents.
- Review and assess warranty claims.

Dealer & Customer Support

- Support Dingo's service network throughout Australia.
- Build strong relationships with dealers, customers and industry partners.
- Manage customer escalations and ensure prompt, professional resolution of service issues.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and help maintain Dingo's reputation for quality and reliability

Product Development & Improvement

- Represent customer and dealer requirements during new product development projects.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Coordinate assembly, testing and validation of prototype and pre-production machines and attachments.
- Participate in product trials, field testing and product evaluations.
- Develop service support strategies for new product releases.

Operational & Administrative Management

- Manage service inventory, workshop resources and spare parts requirements.




- Maintain accurate warranty records, service documentation and reporting systems.
- Prepare quotations, reports and customer communications.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience as a Service Technician.
- Strong knowledge of mobile equipment, construction equipment, agricultural machinery or similar products.
- Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, parts manuals and engineering documentation.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational capability.
- Ability to work across multiple departments and manage competing priorities.

Highly Regarded

- Mechanical, diesel or automotive trade qualifications.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting dealer, distributor or service agent networks.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, small engines and compact construction equipment.
