Position Type: Permanent Full Time (9 day fortnight, 38 hours/week)

Salary Range: Base Salary $68,727 per annum + super, plus overtime and penalty rates dependent on work performed. Additional entitlements and overtime do not form part of the advertised base salary

This is a excellent opportunity for a dependable Truck Driver who wants steady work, good routines, and to be part of a crew that gets things done properly.

You’ll be driving and operating trucks between 8 and 15 tonne, delivering materials, plant and equipment to sites and supporting maintenance and construction crews across the city. No two days are the same — one day you might be running deliveries and setting up traffic control, the next you’ll be helping the crew on site and keeping jobs moving smoothly. You’ll take pride in your truck, carry out daily pre‑start checks, keep equipment in good condition and make sure everything is loaded, tied down and delivered safely.

You’ll work alongside experienced Team Leaders and crew members who have your back, with the chance to gain broad experience across different types of works. Some after‑hours or weekend work may be required, but you’ll be doing worthwhile work that makes a real difference in the community. Qualifications And Experience

Ideally you will have

- Current "MR" Driver's Licence.
- Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD).
- Ability to operate a range of trucks more than 8t GVM, up to and including 15t GVM with not more than 2 axles, in an urban environment.
- Experience and competence in construction/maintenance labouring including:



bitumen asphalt or concrete work, operation of various power tools, concrete finishing, operation of ride on equipment and light plant.
- Experience in the procurement of consumable materials for civil construction works either through internal Stores issue or from external suppliers.
- Knowledge of or previous experience in the setting out of traffic control signage in accordance with the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices together with Level 2 (Implement Traffic Guidance Schemes) accreditation.
- Basic computer skills.
- An ability to perform basic numerical calculations and process documentation.
