Technical Operations Assistant – Grow Into a Senior Technical Role

We have more than 40,000 customers and 90 franchisees across 170 territories, and we’re still growing. We’re looking for a practical, switched-on person to join our technical team. You’ll learn the business from an experienced leader, and there’s a real opportunity to step into a senior technical role as we grow.

What you’ll be doing

- Fleet: keep our fleet of around 20 vehicles on track, including servicing, repairs, registrations,



odometer readings, vehicle returns, new vehicle orders and coordinating insurance claims.
- Franchisee onboarding: help new franchisees hit the ground running, from licences and water access to EPA registrations.
- Training: organise training sessions, Seasonal Mix sessions and supplier workshops, track attendance, and occasionally help deliver hands-on training in the field.
- Compliance and support: book compliance visits, follow up actions, and help franchisees with our job management software.

What we’re looking for

- Knowledge of the lawn care, horticulture or a related industry
- Experience in an administration, operations or coordination role
- Someone highly organised, who loves ticking things off and keeping others on track
- Comfort with spreadsheets and learning recent software
- An AQF3 chemical licence, or willingness to get one (we’ll help)
- A driver’s licence and willingness to travel interstate occasionally
- It’s a bonus if you’ve trained others, worked with a vehicle fleet or been part of a franchise network.
