We go beyond to keep our guests’ experiences positive. As a part of our Maintenance team, you will report directly to our Gardening Supervisor. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be the general maintenance of the gardens at the resort.

Job Description

- General maintenance of lawns and gardens around the Resort
- Soil cultivation, watering, mulching, raking, weeding, edging, pruning, Bed preparation and planting
- Ensuring gardens, thoroughfares and footpaths are transparent and free from weeds and litter
- Planting flowers, shrubs, trees and lawns




- Perform daily maintenance and general upkeep of gardens whilst ensuring minimal disruption to guests.
- Other duties as directed by the resorts Maintenance Manager

The successful applicant will display:

- Previous work experience in a similar role withHorticultural qualifications desirable
- Knowledge of and ability to operate equipment involved in the maintenance of gardens/lawns
- A reasonable level of fitness – you will be on your feet most of the day and will need to bend and kneel frequently
- Good knowledge of a wide range of plants
- Effective communication skills, you will be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to
- Flexible availability – you may be required to work weekends and Public Holidays
- Knowledge of Irrigation systems
