Frankie's is looking for a new addition to our kitchen team!

We are a fast paced, high volume Mexican restaurant and bar in Fitzroy focusing on vibrant, punchy and satisfying food and drink.

Tortas and Tacos is looking for a qualified Chef to become part of our core kitchen team.

You should have at least three years of post-qualification experience, a solid grasp of kitchen operations, and the ability to work independently. You'll also need the ability to step up and guide junior staff or lead a service when needed.

We are expanding soon, meaning there is plenty of room for growth into a dedicated management position.

We offer a flexible roster and are open to discussing a schedule that works for you. Sunday and Monday are essential shifts, but we can structure the rest of your days around them so they fall at the start, middle, or end of your work week.

You will get hands on with some of the core aspects of Mexican cuisine. This includes training in specific meat cookery for tacos, tortas, and tostadas,



seafood preparation for ceviches and aguachile, and mastering a wide variety of salsas and marinades.

Requirements

- Qualified Chef with at least three years of post-qualification experience.
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations and the ability to work independently.
- Confidence to guide junior staff and run a service when required.
- Availability to work on Sundays and Mondays (essential shifts).
