Eversafe Fire & Safety is looking for an experienced Electrical / Fire Systems Estimator to join our team in an office-based role.

n

This is an excellent chance for an experienced estimator who understands the fire protection industry, electrical systems and estimating processes , and can hit the ground running.

n

Fire industry experience and Simpro experience are an absolute must for this position.

The Role n

Working closely with our management, sales and operations teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates and quotations across a range of fire protection and electrical works.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- n

Preparing detailed estimates and quotations for fire and electrical works

n
- n

Reviewing scopes of work, drawings, specifications and client requirements

n
- n

Estimating labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor costs

n
- n

Preparing quotes and proposals for new and existing customers

n
- n

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing

n
- n

Reviewing tender documentation and identifying project requirements

n
- n

Ensuring estimates are accurate, commercially viable and submitted on time

n
- n

Using Simpro to prepare, manage and track estimates and quotations

n
- n

Working with technicians, management and the scheduling team to ensure accurate scopes and pricing

n
- n

Following up quotations and assisting with tender and sales opportunities

n
- n

Maintaining accurate estimating records and documentation

n

About You n





We are looking for someone who can bring proven industry experience to the role.

n

You will have:

n

n
- n

Previous estimating experience within the fire protection industry – essential

n
- n

Hands-on experience using Simpro – essential

n
- n

Strong understanding of fire detection, fire alarm, emergency lighting and other fire protection systems

n
- n

Electrical industry knowledge and experience

n
- n

Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work

n
- n

Strong understanding of labour, material and subcontractor pricing

n
- n

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

n
- n

Strong computer and administration skills

n
- n

Excellent communication and organisational skills

n
- n

The ability to work independently while also being part of a busy team

n
- n

A commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and manage estimating margins
