We are a specialty coffee shop dedicated to serving exceptional coffee and providing a warm, welcoming experience for our community. We are looking for a passionate, technically skilled, and team-oriented Shift Leader to join our team!

Key Priority (Must-Have)

- Advanced Barista Skills: Must be highly proficient in espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art. You should consistently deliver high-quality coffee and understand grinder adjustment and bean profiles. (A practical coffee extraction and latte art test will be required during the interview.)

Key Responsibilities 1. Coffee Quality & Service Excellence

- Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, ensuring strict quality control over extraction ratios, flavor profile, latte art, and speed of service.
- Monitor espresso machines and grinders daily, adjusting grind settings and parameters according to weather and coffee bean conditions.
- Train and mentor junior baristas to refine their brewing and latte art skills, ensuring drink consistency across the team.

2. Shift Leadership & Floor Operations

- Lead floor operations during assigned shifts, delegating tasks effectively to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours.
- Oversee and strictly enforce hygiene standards,



food safety protocols, and daily equipment cleaning/maintenance routines.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve shift-related operational issues with professionalism.

3. Inventory & Administrative Support

- Assist the Store Manager with stock counts and ordering for coffee beans, fresh milk, and packaging supplies.
- Manage shift open/close procedures, cash drawer reconciliation, and handovers.

Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years of specialty barista experience. Previous experience as a Shift Leader or Senior Barista is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Exceptional hands-on coffee-making skills with strong knowledge of equipment calibration and latte art.
- Leadership: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong sense of responsibility, and a positive team-first attitude.
- Agility: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure during busy rushes.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Pay: $33.85 – $36.81 per hour
