Summary:

Reporting to the Processing Crew Supervisor, the Leach, CIL Elution Operator plays a crucial role in the mining operations at our Mount Morgan facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the elution process, ensuring the productive extraction of gold from the leach solution. The operator will work closely with the production team to maintain optimal operational standards, contributing to the overall success and productivity of the mining site.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and control the elution process to ensure maximum recovery of gold.

- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning.

- Maintain accurate records of production data and report any discrepancies.

- Collaborate with the production team to optimise operational efficiency.

- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times.





- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of a certificate 3 Processing in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

- Proven experience in a similar role within the mining industry.

- Strong understanding of chemical processes and elution techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Be mechanically minded with understanding of gravity elution circuits

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
