Role Overview

As a Retail Sales Consultant, you'll play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our Rosebery showroom. You’ll work closely with the Showroom Manager to deliver a seamless customer experience, assist with both trade and retail sales, and help maintain our high visual and operational standards. This role is perfect for someone passionate about interiors who is ready to grow within a design-led retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Sales

- Deliver a warm, knowledgeable, and inspiring experience for both retail and trade customers.
- Assist with styling advice, product selections, and sourcing inquiries for designers and stylists.
- Build lasting client relationships through strong product knowledge and proactive communication.

Operational Excellence

- Support daily showroom operations including merchandising, inventory, and presentation.
- Assist with receiving stock, stocktakes, and efficient transaction processing.




- Maintain showroom standards that reflect the Few & Far brand.

Team Collaboration

- Support and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Assist in onboarding and training current team members.
- Step into a leadership capacity when the Showroom Manager is away.

Business Support

- Contribute to achieving sales and service KPIs.
- Provide insight into sales trends, customer feedback, and trade opportunities.
- Support trade appointments and showroom events for the design community.

About You

- Minimum 1 year of retail or showroom experience (furniture/interiors/homewares preferred).
- Passionate about interiors, styling, and creating inspiring spaces.
- Strong customer service skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Confident using POS or retail systems (Shopify experience desirable).
- Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to business needs.
