We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our project team.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Engineer will provide technical, quality and design coordination support across the project. You will work closely with the construction team, consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders to ensure works are delivered in accordance with the required quality, design and programme requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with the establishment, implementation and monitoring of project quality standards and procedures
- Identify project issues and assist in developing and implementing practical solutions
- Review subcontractor quality documentation, checklists and records to ensure compliance
- Monitor the quality of subcontractor works on site and communicate issues and requirements to the project team
- Assist with coordinating design requirements to ensure documentation is completed to the required standard and within programme
- Facilitate the resolution of design and coordination issues between clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Manage and monitor the flow of technical information between design disciplines and internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor design progress and coordinate with the design team to ensure documentation aligns with the project programme
- Review consultant and subcontractor documentation for compliance with the design brief
- Review tender documentation to confirm scope of works, product requirements and design intent are being appropriately incorporated
- Provide technical construction support to the project team and assist with day-to-day project requirements

Skills & experience

- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering,



Construction Management or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience in an engineering role within a Tier 1–3 building workplace
- Experience working on high-rise residential projects valued at $50M+
- Sound understanding of quality and design requirements across structures, services, finishes and façade
- Strong administration, documentation and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work to a high standard
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
- Professional and practical approach to working within a fast-paced construction environment
