An exciting contract chance is available for an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a healthcare hub fitout in Rockhampton, commencing in approximately four weeks.

This is a hands-on Site Manager position suited to someone who understands the fundamentals of running a construction site and is comfortable being actively involved in the day-to-day delivery of the project.

You do not need previous healthcare or fitout experience to be considered, although experience in these environments would be highly advantageous. The key requirement is strong site management experience, a practical approach and the ability to confidently run a site from commencement through to completion.

The Role

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the site
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities
- Maintain site safety, quality and programme requirements
- Ensure works are progressing in line with project expectations
- Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics
- Identify and resolve issues as they arise on site
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and site presentation
- Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Lead from the front and provide practical direction to trades and subcontractors

About You:



We are looking for an experienced Site Manager who is confident running a construction site and has a strong understanding of construction fundamentals.

You will ideally

- Have previous experience as a Site Manager or Foreman
- Be practical and hands-on with a strong understanding of construction
- Be confident coordinating trades and subcontractors
- Have strong knowledge of site safety and construction processes
- Be comfortable taking ownership of the day-to-day running of a site
- Have healthcare or commercial fitout experience – highly advantageous but not essential
- Be based in Rockhampton or the surrounding areas, or be willing to arrange your own accommodation locally

This is not a role that requires advanced IT skills or extensive office-based administration. The focus is on practical site management, construction knowledge and ensuring the project is delivered effectively on the ground. The project is scheduled to commence in approximately four weeks, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager who is available to take on a new project.
