ABOUT THE ROLE

Korb is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and installers of safety and flooring products with over 15 years of market presence. Primarily focused on the Commercial and Civil arena, you will find yourself installing across varied sites, including education, aviation, transport, public spaces, and recreation. The work is hands on, varied, and trade skilled.

You'll execute installs to a high standard across Melbourne metro and occasionally regional Victoria. Most days you'll work in a small crew, though the team scales up on larger site mobilisations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE INSTALLING

- Commercial entry matting - carpet, hybrid aluminium/carpet systems
- TGSIs & stair nosings - surface and integrated safety products
- Car Parking Accessories ie Bollards, bicycle racks - in-ground and surface-mounted
- Matwell & subfloor prep - screeding, grinding, levelling
- Maintenance works in the Rail Corridor

BACKGROUNDS THAT TRANSLATE WELL You don't need to have done this exact work before. If you have strong trade fundamentals, the specifics are learnable.



These are the backgrounds we see translate best:

- Carpenter or joiner - set-out, precise cutting, aluminium framing, matwell templating
- Cabinet maker - measurement, templating, finishing to tight tolerances
- Floor layer or carpet installer - adhesive application, subfloor prep, finishing
- Concreter, civil labourer, or formworker - coring, site set-out, bollard and rack installation; formworkers in particular bring strong jig and pour setup skills directly applicable to in-ground bollard work
- Tiler - surface levelling, grinding, screeding, attention to finish

REQUIREMENTS

- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
- Construction White Card
- 2–3 years minimum in building, flooring, or civil construction
- Comfortable reading plans and completing accurate site set-outs
- Two contactable work references
- Pre-employment drug screen (if required)
- RIW Card advantagous as is working with childrens
